A large and beautiful Victorian distillery, Ardmore is a rarity in terms of style, a Highland peaty malt. For years it was the only distillery in the region to produce peaty whiskeys, today other distilleries have been added that partly or occasionally produce this type of distillate but Ardmore is still the only remaining distillery in the Highlands to produce exclusively peaty whiskey.
Valinch & Mallet'srdmore 13 Years Old is a single malt Scotch whiskey from medium tornature distilled in 2009 and aged for 13 years in a single ex-bourbon barrel. It was bottled in 2022 to its natural grade (53.4%) without being cold filtered (unchill filtered) and without adding dyes in only 246 bottles.
